June 27

June 27
So today was Versailles, a very well-known palace. It is huge…several times bigger than everything we have seen. There are acres and acres of gardens with houses and stuff on them. Beautiful-really. The inside felt very similar to the other palaces and stuff. Ok so we had a tour guide…I don’t even know where to start. So I’ll describe him with adverbs to help you understand him…proper, rude, smelly (like rotting teeth –makes the top 3 worst smells so far), blunt/outspoken, loud, bossy, very knowledgeable, chauvinistic, and old. He almost ruined the day for me. Luckily Versailles is so amazing. PS I did learn stuff from him and it was ok. We kinda dressed up for it today, so I wore flats. I had to walk miles in them; it sucked. My feet may never heal. Jk…they are just really sore, and man am I tired.
Touring Versailles took all day- until 6:30. We did however go straight to the Eiffel Tower. After three days of trying, we successfully made it up to the top. I loved it! It was the most amazing view of Paris. I’m glad we finally made it up. The Eiffel Tower is definitely my favorite place in Paris. Luv Sharele
