CREATE52 - #5 Love Jar

I wanted to bring a little more LOVE in, so I made this for Pete and I. It's for Valentines- The idea is: You and your partner, write down things you love about the other throughout the year. Then next year on Valentine's Day, go through them together...ahhhh. (Now to get Pete to actually write things ha.)

CREATE52 - #4 Valentine's Garland

I didn't have any Valentine's decorations- so I decided to make this garland. I just cut a bunch of hearts out of felt and sewed them together. Also, I cut out LOVE to make it a little cuter. Then I sewed a long line through it all to attach it to a piece of ribbon- to make it stronger and easier to hang.

CREATE52 - #3 Little Bags

I made these all from a pattern. Pete and I both needed bags for the shower- at the gym. So I used a lightweight and water-resistant fabric that would dry easily. The middle bag was just for fun. It's hard to tell, but I hand-embroidered it and it has a zipper.

CREATE52 - #2 Infinity Scarf

I've always thought buying scarves was such a rip off... It's just a piece of fabric! So I found some cheap, versatile fabric at Joann's and finally just made one for myself. It's a very quick project-- Cut the length and width you want and finish the edges. (For the infinity scarf, you sew the ends together into a circle.) Voila!

CREATE52 - #1 Dream Mobile

I couldn't part with this cool stick I found outside. So I painted it up with some fun colors, and strung up some beads (I had laying around) with duck feathers (that Pete got for me from hunting) on fishing string-- To make this dream-catcher-inspired decoration.
